Dennis Condor is one of my favourite buses because it is now the oldest in the fleet, also it is once owned by China Motor Bus (CMB), which I missed so much. I am not a fan of new streamline look of the new buses, as I am still favour the old square look of the Dennis Condor - flat front & rear, central mullion in the middle of the front windows, The shape looks like a loaf bread, so that leads me to nickname it "The Loaf".

Its engine sounds like lion roars, noisy and powerful. I also enjoy the rough ride created by the hard suspension, it reminds me of ride on the Leyland Victory MK2 in the old days. Also the bus drivers drive them very fast & brake very hard, thus the ride on DA is exactly like back in the old days with CMB!

New World First Bus NWFB purchased 92 air-conditioned buses Dennis Condor from China Motor Bus CMB on 1 September 1998, after CMB lost its bus operation franchised. The Company had operated these bus since 1997, and they are now the oldest workhorse of the fleet. They are still very active in Routes 4, 4X, 38, 91, 590, 590A etc.
