We will first identify what specific part failed in the upgraded fuel transfer pump.
I'll then install a much better suited 12V submersible universal fuel pump that has been purpose designed for continuous submersion in petroleum based solvents. This is what I should have used in the first place in this parts washer pump DIY upgrade project. As DIY'ers, we are always learning :)

Lastly, we'll add a feature to these 3.5 gal parts washers that many wished they came with: Variable flow control of the solvent using an inexpensive and easy to install DC motor speed controller.
