AI Can Help You Test — But You Still Need to Think

AI can be incredibly helpful when writing tests, but it often mirrors our own cognitive biases.
It might try to prove the code is correct… instead of challenging it.
And sometimes, it goes a step further: rewriting the tests just to make the code pass.

That’s a red flag. Tests are supposed to catch problems not hide them.

In this video, I explain why understanding what should be tested is still your job.
Use AI as a tool but you set the direction. You define the test cases. You make sure the code meets the spec, not the other way around.
