Описание:
Sharing how I construct "my version" of a Traveler's Notebook Insert.
Despite a few liberties taken with my measurements, this book still fits a standard Midori Traveler's Notebook Cover.
Supplies Used:
•1 sheet of cardstock by Paper Source cut to 9.125"W x 8.25"H
•10 sheets of text weight paper by Paper Source cut to 8.5"W x 8"H
•A standard Swingline Stapler
•A piece of foam
•A paper trimmer
•A bone folder
•Two binder clips
FAQ:
-Why are the inside sheets smaller than the cover?
I have found that as my book grows throughout the month, the covers have to curve around the inner pages. This results in a "shortening effect" which gives the appearance that the cover is smaller than the inside pages. Cutting them slightly smaller alleviates this.
-Why only 10 sheets?
Because I have found that is all I need to document my month. You can easily add or subtract sheets
-Why do you only trim a couple of the inner sheets at a time?
While I am quite comfortable with a craft knife, I have found that I like using my paper trimmer when possible. To achieve the "flush when closed" and "cascading when open" look of a standard book, I stack the pages inside one another until they are all trimmed.
