I made a brief documentary on my Laser Orrery project at Meow Wolf Convergence Station in Denver.
This received First Place in the “Permanent Installation” category at the 2022 International Laser Display Association Awards, presented November 5 2022 at the ILDA Conference held in London (Dartford) UK, hosted by ER Productions. Description (provided by the entrant):
This is a commissioned permanent installation. It’s a laser-projected orrery manipulated by guests sitting in giant robot mechs. It’s a cooperative experience where guests try to solve puzzles and open the wormhole. Laser projection is accompanied by video mapping and other lighting effects.
