Most remodeling insulation solutions involves a multiple step and messy process: starting with the tearing off drywall, disposing of the drywall, installing insulation in-between the framing, and finally installing new drywall. Then once all these other steps are completed you have only insulated 75% of the wall. The wood studs are still not insulated. InSoFast is a One-Step Insulation solution that includes insulated studs. Over existing framing you doubled the performance of your wall's R-Value, by completely insulating the whole wall even the framing. The advantage of using InSoFast over traditional insulation strategies is that we are attaching our studs directly to the structure, the interior wood framing. It’s easy to increase your energy efficiency and R-Value beyond R-13 code minimums and even exceeding net-zero requirements, while maintaining the engineered benefits of continuous InSoFast panels without tearing out your existing drywall finishes. Simply layer InSoFast rigid foam insulation panels over top of the existing drywall or lath and plaster.

Most insulation solutions involve a three step process: installing a wood frame, then the insulation, and finally the finish. InSoFast is a One-Step Insulation over existing framing.

If your idea of insulation is fiberglass or rockwool, it would be understandable since they are so widely available and affordable. However, fiberglass insulation soaks up water, resulting in mold and mildew, and its installation requires a wooden frame to hold it.
