"Dirty Thirty" - a slang phrase used by bass fishermen when their 5 fish limit has a aggregate weight of over 30 lbs (6 pound average). This is not a easy feat, and it is usually accomplished with bigger, heavier largemouth bass. In this video you will witness two fisherman trying to achieve a "Dirty Thirty", single day catch, of SMALLMOUTH - can they do it? To catch 5 smallmouth, in a single day that AVERAGE 6lbs? A 6lb smallmouth is a trophy fish that many people catch only once in a lifetime - 5 in one day? Can it be done?
This was an absolute epic day on the St. Lawrence River near Clayton, NY June 2025. We caught so many fish between 4 and 5 lbs it was unreal. We boated over 70 fish that day, this video is the highlights. We broke so many personal best during the trip. Our best 20 fish (5 from each day) weighed 30.40, 25.88, 25.35 & 23.24 for 104.87lbs - Century Belt!
