Описание:
Carboxylic acids are easy to name.
Just take the length of the longest carbon chain (that has a COOH at the end) and stick "oic acid" at the end.
Double bonds, functional groups, everything else is exactly the same.
Also, note that carboxylic acids are polar and have high MP/BP.
I might have rambled a little too much about "dimers"
