Could mosasaurs survive in Subnautica? In the fourth episode of my most popular series on the channel, we’re putting two types of mosasaurs into Sector Zero of Planet 4546B. The real species is Gnathomortis stadtmani, a 10.5 meter apex predator from the Cretaceous. The other is the absolutely gigantic Jurassic World mosasaur, which was a kaiju-sized movie monster. First up is Gnathomortis. We’ll analyze how it handles the polar ocean of its new Home, obtains food to satisfy its Hunger, and competes with native ecological analogs and predators to deal with their Hanger. At the end, we’ll find out how Gnathomortis might evolve to fit into its alien surroundings, and then move to the Jurassic World monstrosity. Will they thrive…or be eaten alive?
