This is a DIY Portable 12 Volt Battery Dry Box With USB Power Port, Voltmeter, 12V Cigarette Type Power Port, and 2 Lighted On/Off Switches for Use on a Kayak and/or Canoe. The gauges and connectors are marine rated. The cigarette type port is powered on by a separate switch and is protected with a 15A fuse. The voltmeter and USB port are also powered on by a separate switch and protected with a 5A fuse. The enclosure is a dry box with flip up lid enclosing the power ports, gauges, and switches separately. The top of the box opens to a lift out tray that provides more itemized storage. The color is a bright orange for high visibility. With the flip lid down, the dry box looks like an ordinary storage container for added security.
You can remove the top lid from the back hinges and leave the gauges/switches faces exposed if you prefer.
