Air Mobility Group put readiness to the test in Exercise Mobility Bluegum 25 – projecting air power at short notice and proving agility from any location. ✈
Exercise Director, Group Captain Alan Bowers, said the exercise strengthened the group’s readiness and its role within the broader ADF force posture.
“The exercise tested our people, platforms and processes in realistic conditions,” Group Captain Bowers said.
“It saw our aviators plan, coordinate and execute under pressure, building confidence in their ability to project and sustain air mobility in support of government objectives,” he said.
A key component was the integration of Army's Ready Brigade - the @7th Brigade, validating the ability of all participants to execute Tactical Air Land Operations in challenging and time-sensitive scenarios. 🎖️
The exercise formed a key component of the ADF’s focus on northern basing and operational agility, aligning with Defence’s strategy to enhance responsiveness and resilience in a dynamic regional environment.
