(13 Dec 2016) US Attorney General Loretta Lynch visited students at the Harvey Milk High School in New York City where she urged that the work for LGBTQ rights and civil rights will continue during the administration's transition.
Lynch spoke with lesbian, gay and transgender youth where she discussed ongoing efforts by the Justice Department to combat hate crimes, bullying and the work being done to further civil rights.
Lynch said that LGBTQ working groups will stay on in the department to continue their work on civil-rights related issues.
