Learn how you can determine #water and #moisture in #petroleum products, #lubricants, #additives with the Karl Fischer oven technique.
In this technique, the water is extracted from the sample in an oven, transferred to the measuring cell with a dry carrier gas, and measured with #coulometric Karl Fischer #titration. As a result, cleaning of the measuring cell is not required between measurements. In addition, interferences are excluded, as only water comes into contact with the Karl Fischer reagent.
You can automate this method and analyze a series of up to 35 samples fully automatically.
