Rani Sui Lake is located on a hilltop in Himachal Pradesh, India at an elevation of 3,790 meters. The lake is named after a fierce battle that took place during the time of King Maharaja.
The lake is surrounded by meadows and forests of pine and deodar trees. From May to September, the grasslands around the lake are covered with flowers, earning it the nickname "flower valley". In December, the lake freezes over and people can walk on it. The area is also snowbound for about seven months of the year, and the summit camp offers panoramic views of snow-capped peaks.
