Grand Prix 2 came out in 1996 and was the great successor of Microproses and Geoff Crammonds Formula One Grand Prix Game. It was the first titel from the series with official FIA Licence and included the 1994 Formula One Season with all Cars and Tracks (effective 94 british gp). The game was a real simulation, with cars could get airborne, detailed damage model, outstandig physics, graphics and level of detail from cars and tracks. It was another master piece and the best selling racing simulation for a long time! Due to its lack of 3D-Graphicscard support, it had a enormous effect on the cpu load. Backthen even the fastes PCs couldn`t handle the game with full graphics. This is also the reason, why in this video the ingame lap times are too high, while the real times are accurate. Its not that easy to run the game on modern PCs. So please don`t mind and just ignore this fact.
