I bought this to replace a B&D EXTREME SERIES vacuum which had died after 2 years of daily use. I paid $15 for it but refused to throw it away.
Seems like there are plenty of these that have similar and/or the same issue but most of them suffer from jammed up roller because people just don't clean them!!! YES! Vacuums need maintenance!
In my case, the NEGATIVE circuit on the extension wand connection is faulty and actually, sucks voltage at -4.5 volts instead of +18 volts.
Measure it and give it a shot; You just might get lucky!!
