After spending many hours and losing count on how many times I took apart the suspension and put it back together again, since the last modifications a few months ago this setup is finally ready to be shared with the world with a how-to guide. While I've had no more issues at all using this setup throughout Winter I do still consider this to be an experimental setup. So if you're going to attempt to do this yourself with the help of this guide, do please be aware of that. There could still be issues that I'm not yet aware of. Also there will be some inevitable NVH (noise/vibration/hardness) added to the coilovers. But the added benefit is of course being able to lift the car whenever necessary, which for coilovers that usually only offer a static stance is pretty awesome. It's a lot of work though and it isn't easy but for those really wanting to have the ability to lift the car while staying with coilovers, I feel this really is the way to go.
In this how-to video I'll be covering how to install Stanceparts air cups on Mountain Pass Performance Comfort adjustable coilovers for the Tesla Model 3. Though it should also work the same on the Sport coilovers and KW V3 coilovers. You'll see which parts are necessary, which parts have to be custom machined and how it all goes together. The other main parts you need are shorter springs (I got them from Swift), spherical top mounts (I got them from Flyy Air) and rotational bearings (I got them from Destination Sideways). The rest is all custom adapters to be able to fit everything together as one setup.
For the actual install of the coilovers and air setup you can check out these videos of Tesla DIY. This coilover/air cup setup gets installed on the car in a very similar way.

On the air setup there are no height sensors though, and instead of a manifold, for air cups 2 seperate valves are used. This is all well explained in the documentation from Stanceparts.

Also if you get this setup installed on your Model 3, do please do let me know as well as I'm always interested to see this setup on other builds.
Hope this how-to will be very helpful to any of you who want to attempt this setup.
