Описание: Assos is an ancient city situated on a high hill in Behramkale, a district of Çanakkale, Turkey. It's reached from a steep slope to the sea. It's quite high up. The sea and panoramic views from Assos are magnificent. The ruins of a temple at its highest point are still impressive today. Later, during the Seljuk and Ottoman periods, Assos was surrounded by a fortress. You can experience 1,400 years of history simultaneously. There's also a village within the ancient city.
