This week's vlog is dedicated to my beautiful cousin Rocco Sorrenti, who passed away over Easter.
I adored and spent so many happy moments with him throughout my life. He lived in many countries, including Italy, Japan and Australia, where I was fortunate to join him on many occasions. I'm sure he will join me "in spirit" on my journey to Tuscany, as he was so happy for me and the choices I was making towards my Italian life.
The beautiful Marie Kidd, from AUTHENTIC TUSCANY has kindly joined our vlog today, to speak of her own personal journey of choosing Tuscany as her home. Marie and her lovely husband, Lorenzo run a highly successful accomodation and tourism business out of the stunning village of Vicopisano, which is just 35 minutes north of our village of Chianni.

We are Marisa and David, originally from Australia and the UK, we are now residents in a gorgeous hilltop village in Tuscany.
During the Global Pandemic, we decided to buy our Italian dream home, sight unseen and with no prior knowledge of the region.
