So I was watching KKHTA. You can mock me now. It was a pretty horrifying event. Are you surprised? Everyone dies in increasingly insane ways. What's that? Let me SEW BOMBS INTO PEOPLE ALIVE? Let me END THE PEOPLE I CARE FOR MOST? So how does a part-time writer try to change this fate?
Introduce characters from another Grimsokyo and bloody Mugenri of course!
I don't really know much about Len'en. It's made by a Touhou fan? Its main characters are respectively
(Yabusame) Reimu's job, Yukari's powers, Koishi's mindset (how bloody ironic);
(Tsubakura) Marisa's shottype, horrific levels of past and future trauma;
(Kuroji) Keine's job, except kleptomania to make Marisa blush, and potential for becoming an evil overlord;
(Suzumi) Half of why Tsubakura has so much trauma, a yandere that plays with people's memories.
I've also been reading Touhou Ibunshu, a fanfic from 2007-2012 that was quite popular in its heyday. Check the tvtropes page for details. Differences include:
-Absolutely EVERYONE has been depowered. No more special abilities, just brute force. Reimu has went from godslayer to literally just an ordinary miko.
-All incidents have been the result of familial love. Or at least have ties to familial love. This makes it possible to talk down the perpetrators, which is nice if you only have a gohei to hit people with and can't even fly.
Let's combine this unholy mess of characters together!
The more hands the merrier, right?
Titles:
Shrine Maiden Redeeming with Love - Reimu Hakurei (Because in the alternate dimension, things usually change because of love, and are resolved by love. As for why the title has nothing to do with 'Wonderful Shrine Maiden of Paradise' - brother, Reimu's spiritual power {unlike the original} is damned near zero.)
All-Loving Ordinary Magician - Marisa Kirisame (In RCB, she (spoilers?) unexpectedly forgave Sakuya, who had just killed both her and Reimu . the title was made half-jokingly, but everyone in that work acted like Jesus. The spelling was intentionally misspelled because the original had a "-ze" verbal tic, which I don't know how to translate.)
Elegant Maid Atoning for her Past - Sakuya Izayoi (Besides killing her companions {Sakuya: Hey.}, she was also a serial killer {Sakuya: Sigh}. Forgive her, but she should at least take some action to show her understanding. So I imagine she might help an old lady cross the street or something. The theme song might be "Walking the Road of Life"? (Wait, why is her paragraph so long?)
The Outsider Witnessed by the Gods - Sanae Kochiya (She is indeed watched by the two gods, and she is indeed an outsider. Since she has no interaction with the main characters in the original novels, it's impossible to say anything else about her.)
Forgotten Article Suffering Misfortune - Tatara Kogasa (She did suffer misfortune, and she is in fact 'forgotten.' Also, in KKHTA, she just started to have character when she got driven mad by Lunarian madness BS (spoilers?) and died... Heavens.)
Living God Cursed By Past Events - Kochiya Sanae (She is bullied extremely severely every day, almost r*ped, her parents were burned to death, and she killed the arsonists with a knife. {Sentaku-bune, can you not post your complaints about Japan here? Nobody would see the opinions, however true they get, as KKHTA was too depressing for anyone to really care. People who like KKHTA are all because the (spoilers) Final Part 7/9 was so touching.}. Unlike the Sanae in Touhou Ibunshu, she would indeed be a present god.)
