Since 1986 the World Cruising Club organizes the popular Atlantic Rally for Cruisers, a transatlantic crossing from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria to Saint Lucia in the Lesser Antilles, a route that was Columbus' in 1502.
The 2.700 miles crossing conquered the heart of thousand of sailors eager to cross the Atlantic in company, and above all, in total safety.
The success of the format has been overwhelming so that the organizers started ARC+ on Las Palmas - Capo Verde - Grenadine route.
