My Special Trip to the Little House on the Prairie Filming Location

Описание: In February of 2013 and again in August of 2013, I had the privilege to visit the Big Sky Movie Ranch in Simi Valley California, where my favorite show in the world was filmed Little House on the Prairie from 1974 to 1984. Although the buildings no longer stand, if your a true Little House fan, you can see where everything was located. The opening sequence of the theme song known as "Flower Hill" looks pretty much the same. Opposite the hill across the way the Ingalls homestead where the Little House , barn and corral once stood. It was very nice to be there. We then made way into town and can tell where the Church, Nellie's Restaurant, the Ice House Oleson's Mercantile, Hansons Mill, the town Bridge, Feed and Seed, Doc Bakers, all were once a part of this place. I was also able to see where the famous pond, where Laura and Nellie had their fight. Up and away in that photo, the tree in the background appears to be the location where the blind school once stood. Well I hope you truly enjoy this video as much as I enjoyed being at the site.
