Ers yr 1980au mae’r hanesydd celf a churadur yr arddangosfa, Peter Lord, wedi bod yn archwilio'r myth bod 'dim celf Gymreig' gan ddarganfod a chofnodi hanes celf ac artistiaid Cymreig.

Yn y digwyddiad arbennig yma, ymunwch â Peter wrth iddo fynd â chi trwy ein harddangosfa newydd y mae o wedi ei churadu, ‘Dim Celf Gymreig’: Archwilio’r Myth.

Mae’r arddangosfa’n cynnwys dros 250 o weithiau o arwyddocâd cenedlaethol o’i gasgliad ei hun ac o gasgliad y Llyfrgell, ac yn datgelu stori am gyfoeth diwylliant gweledol Cymru a’i hanes cymdeithasol a gwleidyddol.

Since the 1980s the art historian Peter Lord has been exploring the myth that there is ‘no Welsh art’, discovering and recording Welsh art and artists.

In this special event, join Peter as he takes you through our new exhibition that he has curated, ‘No Welsh Art’: Exploring the Myth.

The exhibition features over 250 works of art of national significance from his own collection and that of the National Library, and reveals the richness of Wales’ visual culture as well as its social and political history.
