Asif Naveed (PHEC), Dr. Abida Naseer (GCUF), Uzma Azam (alumni sports star), university coordinators, staff, and students attended the event.
The closing ceremony was a kaleidoscope of talent and tradition, featuring the march past, cultural showcases, a spirited prize distribution honoring champions across a massive range of disciplines, including Athletics, Races, Shot Put, Javelin Throw, Discus Throw, Long Jump, Triple Jump, Cricket, Badminton, Table Tennis, and the crowd-favorite Tug of War. A high-stakes Musical Chairs competition added energy to the ceremony.
In an inspiring address to the gathering, Dr. Ameen underscored that sports are not merely about competition but are vital for developing leadership, resilience, and physical well-being. She emphasized that students should evolve into mature individuals by balancing education with character building, sports, and reading. She urged students to embrace their status as "young adults" by showing maturity and using these activities to nurture their overall personalities. She lauded the festival's vibrant atmosphere and expressed her deepest appreciation to the organizing team for delivering a dynamic, seamless event.
