The hike up the Stanserhorn is a nice one day tour not far from Zurich (approx. 65 km, around 1,5 hours with the train). You can either do the sporty version of the four hours hike or go up with the cable car to enjoy one of the most beautiful Alp panoramas in Switzerland. We missed it unfortunately due to the rainy weather.
The Stanserhorn is a mountain of the Urner Alps, located near the town of Stans in Central Switzerland. The elevation is 1,898 m.
