Well, after a lazy morning we eventually get going and head for Osmanville near Isigny sur Mer to see the 2025 Liberty Convoy. Last year this event attracted over 350 vehicles but that was one of the 'big' anniversaries ie 60th, 65th, 70th and so on, Any anniversary that ends in '0' or '5' is regarded as a big one. As this is the 81st such a turnout wasn't expected but what we got was more than ample. A busy afternoon followed with visits to the German cemeteries at La Cambe and Orglandes, the new memorial to the 8th USAAF at La Fiere bridge and lastly the battery at Mont Coquerel overlooking Quineville. Enjoy!
