The real-life L.A. Dream Team was a hip hop duo based out of Los Angeles, California during the 80's and 90's. In the early years, the group consisted of members Rudy Pardee and Chris "Snake Puppy" Wilson. Additional members were added later including Lisa Love, The Real Richie Rich, and Big Burt. The group signed with MCA records and released their first album, "Kings of the West Coast" in 1985 and "Bad to the Bone" in 1986.

Sadly, Lisa Love died in a car accident. She was eventually replaced by two additional female members, Robin Williams and Tanisha Hill. The group continued to make music and released another album, "Back to Black" in 1989, but as West Coast Gangsta Rap started to rise, the group's popularity began to decline. The group members eventually moved on to other ventures, but sadly, Rudy Pardee died in a scuba-diving accident in 1998.
