To create checklists on Trello cards, begin by opening the specific card you wish to enhance. On the right-hand side of the card, under the "Add to card" section, locate and click the "Checklist" button. A small pop-up will appear, prompting you to give your new checklist a name; choose a descriptive title like "Subtasks," "Approval Steps," or "To-Do." After naming, the checklist will appear within the card's main content area. To add items, simply type each task into the "Add an item..." field and press Enter or click "Add." You can add unlimited items, and once created, they can be reordered by dragging and dropping, marked complete by clicking their checkboxes, and even assigned due dates or converted into separate cards for more complex tasks.
