In the Panchayat Samiti elections in Pune district, the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) delivered a strong performance by establishing power in 10 out of the 13 committees. In Bhor, the decision in the stronghold of former MLA Sangram Thopte was determined through a draw of lots (Ishwari Chitthi). Meanwhile, in Purandar, the NCP, with the support of Shiv Sena, succeeded in electing the Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson.
