Ruth Miller, the Amish mother recently found not guilty by reason of insanity in the drowning death of her 4-year-old son at Atwood Lake last summer, will be back in Tuscarawas County Common Pleas Court on Friday.
The purpose of the hearing is to give the prosecution and the defense the opportunity to present their positions on Miller's placement moving forward. She is currently being held in the Tuscarawas County Jail.

Miller previously pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity in connection with the death of her son, Vincen Miller. Authorities have described the killing as one that stemmed from what they called Miller’s “spiritual delusion.”
