In Andean cosmovision, it is not stone and ice alone, but living energy.
This is no ordinary walk. It is a 7-day pilgrimage celebrated once a year. A sacred immersion. To walk Ausangate is to remember your origin.
To stand beneath its peak is to feel the pulse of living energy.
