সম্মিলিত সনাতনী জাগরণ জোটের মুখপাত্র চিন্ময় কৃষ্ণ দাস ব্রহ্মচারীকে কারাগারে পাঠানোর আদেশের প্রতিবাদে বিক্ষোভ করা সনাতনী সম্প্রদায়ের সাথে আইনশৃংখলা রক্ষাকারি বাহিনীর দফায়দফায় সংঘর্ষে রণক্ষেত্রে পরিণত হয় চট্টগ্রাম আদালত এলাকা। এর আগে আদালত চত্বরে চিন্ময় কৃষ্ণকে বহনকারি প্রিজন ভ্যান ২ ঘন্টা আটকে বিক্ষোভ করলে, লাঠিচার্জ করে পুলিশ। এসব ঘটনায় বন্দরনগরীর পরিস্থিতি থমথমে। মোতায়েন করা হয়েছে বিজিবি।


The Chittagong court area turned into a battlefield as law enforcement forces clashed with the Sanatani community protesting against the order to send Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari, spokesperson of the Sammilita Sanatani Jagran Jote, to prison. Earlier, when the prison van carrying Chinmoy Krishna was blocked in the court premises for 2 hours, the police lathi-charged. The situation in the port city is tense due to these incidents. BGB has been deployed.
