Painted on a 16x20 canvas, each of the 5 layers represents one of the main tracks off of my album "BANG". After completing this album, I had stumbled into the rabbit hole that is graphic scores. In future projects I may use the score as the starting point, but in this instance I needed something to visualize my pre-existing material in a way that felt the truest to myself. I've always thought I was shit at painting, so I've been forcing myself to get better. Motto of my life, I suppose. I used "sonic visualizer" to better plan where I would lay out each blob of paint. While the visuals may not be 100% 1 to 1 with the original sound, I like to think they're pretty dang close!
