Dauntless is an action RPG in the same style as the Monster Hunter games- where you and a few other players team up and go off to hunt down massive monsters. It's a bit of a grindfest, where you might have to fight one monster over and over, but at the same time the combat and the enemies are so satisfying that you simply don't even notice the grind. Plus you end up looking extra-rad.
Currently Dauntless is in Alpha, and there are going to be buggy bits, broken things, and missing features- but for the most part it's a solid experience where it counts.
