A Village of Fathers Support A Son

Описание: A VILLAGE OF FATHERS: I paid to have my recruit Kaden’s initiation test into The Cave of Adullam Transformational Training Academy recorded so that he and his mother would have it for encouragement and memories. I had no I idea Kaden would say, “I wish my father was here.” Those words brought back a plethora of memories when I use to say, “I wish my father was here.” My father missed almost every event in my life, even all my football games except one. And the game he did attend, he was late, then criticized me for dropping a game winning touchdown. However by God's grace, we healed our relationship 7 years before he died, and I learned so much from him! As I fought through my tears to explain the symbolic display of God providing fathers in Kaden’s life, the LORD had me shift the order of men to where my disciple Chris A Norris would be last. This was for my heart and to symbolize He has chosen Chris as the one to lead the Cave of Adullam when it’s my time to step away. There’s truly NO ONE else I would feel at peace with leading the Cave of Adullam than him.

To Kaden’s mother Jenell: As I’ve stated before, you are one of the most committed and loving single mothers I have ever known! May the LORD continue to give you the grace and patience needed to mother Kaden in God’s will. I salute you my sister and you know we will always be here for you.

To Kaden's father: I love you and will always be here for you and your son. As I tell every father that entrusts his son to me... My goal is never to usurp your position, but to be your hands and feet on the mats, training and helping your son master the emotions that the devil will use against him.

To the boys and young men whose fathers are not actively engaged in your lives: Please do not harbor bitterness in your hearts and miss the men that God has strategically placed in your life to learn from like I did. I had a beautiful step father, the only man to teach me how to play sports. Unfortunately due to my desire to be loved by my father, I did not realize this until I spoke at my step father’s funeral. Trust me, the "fathers" are there. You just need to broaden your lens, so that you can see them.

To the fathers that aren't actively engaged in your child's life: Please know your children not only love you, but deeply need your love, affirmation, provision and protection. PLEASE KNOW that it’s only when you’re dead that it’s too late to be your child’s father. PLEASE do not allow anything, situation or emotion to hinder your effort of being actively engaged in their lives. I pray this video will encourage you to visit the wounds in your life that hinder your from being in your child’s. You do not have to be in your child’s house in order to be in his/her life.
