We are back with a new recipe of Chicken Chow Mein. Chicken Chow Mein is one of the most common street food in Nepal, India and other parts of Asia. This Chow Mein Recipe is just like what you get at your favorite Chinese restaurant but it’s made at home in under 30 minutes! Chicken chow Mein is made with tender noodles, fresh sauteed veggies, lean chicken, and a simple savory sauce. A crave-worthy dinner!

Chicken Chow Mein ingredients:
Serves 3 to 4
To Marinate Chicken
300 gm Boneless, skinless chicken breast
1.5 tbsp. Soy sauce
1/2 tsp. Chinese five spice/garam masala
1/2 tsp. Baking soda
Pinch of black pepper
For the Sauce
2 Tbsp soya sauce
1 Tbsp chili sauce
1 Tbsp ketchup
For the Aromatic Vegetables
3-5 Cloves garlic (approximately 1 Tbs.)
1 inch Fresh ginger (approximately 1/2 Tbs.)
1 Red chili
For the Vegetables & Noodles (You can substitute vegetables for your taste or what’s available as same amount as recipe calls.)
100 gm Shiitake or button mushrooms (approximately 2 large or 4 small size mushrooms)
1 Red capsicum
1 onion (you can substitute with spring onion)
1 large sized carrot
Bamboo shoots, water chestnuts and baby corn If available
For Garnish
1 tsp. Toasted sesame seeds
3 Tbs. Cooking oil
