Have you ever Wondered why most Arabic countries share similar flags ?
If you look at the flag of these countries you will see they share 4 identical colors in their flag which are considered to be pan-Arabic colors.
Among them, Black represents the standard used by the Rashidun and the Abbasid Caliphate, White was the dynastic color of the Umayyad and Fatimid caliphates.
Green symbolizes Islam and Red is the Hashemite dynastic color.
The colors were first combined in 1916 in the flag of the Arab revolt which was a military uprising against the Ottoman Empire during World War I, aiming to create a unified and independent Arab state.
