Toyota Etios VXD (Platinum Limited Edition) Exterior and Interior

Описание: Toyota Kirloskar Motor has silently introduced the new Etios Platinum Limited Edition sporting more premium features. The Toyota Etios Platinum edition is avaiable on the VX trim with the petrol priced at 12000$, while the diesel is priced at 13800$ (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi). The Platinum limited edition premium touches to the sedan which include a new paint scheme, dual-tone upholstery and additional infotainment features. There are no mechanical upgrades on the offering. The Platinum edition is limited to the Etios sedan and is not offered on the Etios Liva hatchback for now.
The Toyota Platinum Etios Limited Edition sports the new Phantom Brown colour scheme, while you also get the option of Pearl White from the standard version. There aren't any cosmetic changes to the car, since it last received an update last year. The cabin is spruced up with the new dual-tone upholstery to meet the exterior colour, along with a new pattern for teh armrest. The big update though is the addition of a 6.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports AUX, USB and Bluetooth connectivity, in addition to voice recognition and remote control. Unlike a lot of its competition though, the infotainment system does not get Android Auto or Apple CarPlay connectivity.
Under the hood, the Toyota Platinum Etios Limited Edition is offered in both petrol and diesel versions. The petrol variant draws power from the 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine that is tuned for 89 bhp at 5600 rpm and 132 Nm of peak torque at 3000 rpm. The diesel version gets the 1.4-litre four-cylinder D-4D motor with 67 bhp at 3800 rpm and 170 Nm of peak torque available between 1800-2400 rpm. Both units are paired to a 5-speed manual transmission.
While the Etios retails in decent numbers, Toyota India's big launch for the year is the Yaris sedan. We saw the model at the Auto Expo 2018 earlier this month and the model will be launched in April this year. To be available only with a petrol unit, bookings for the Yaris will commence sometime in March, 2018.
