Praise Yahweh.
In this powerful Bible teaching, we uncover something many have overlooked:
The first thing Yahweh ever made holy was not a person, not a nation, not a temple — it was a day.
In Genesis 2:1–3, Yahweh sanctified the seventh day and set it apart. The word “sanctified” means to make holy, to consecrate, to separate for a sacred purpose. Before there were commandments written on stone, before there was Israel established as a nation, Yahweh blessed and made the Shabbat holy.
Why does that matter today?
Because Shabbat (which means to cease, to stop, to rest) was established as a sign between Yahweh and His people (Exodus 31:13–17). It was never just about rest — it was about remembrance. It was about identity. It was about relationship.
In a world full of movement, noise, business, and distraction, have we forgotten what Yahweh set apart from the very beginning?
The Bible warns about treating what is holy as common. It tells us that the fear of Yahweh is the beginning of knowledge (Proverbs 1:7). If we no longer fear, have we also lost understanding?
This message is not about religion. It is about returning. Returning to the foundation. Returning to what Yahweh declared holy.
Today, we reflect.
Today, we remember.
Today, we choose to rest in His presence.
Praise Yahweh Mighty Name FOREVER!
Shabbat Shalom.
