Senior diplomats from the UAE Embassy recently led a mission to Utah, further strengthening the $1 trillion UAE-US economic partnership. Between 2018 and 2023, Utah’s exports to the UAE totaled $182 million, reflecting the growing economic ties between the two regions.
Building on the partnership, the delegation met with local members of government such as Utah Lieutenant Governor Deidre Henderson and business leaders from key sectors like aerospace, defense, and life sciences to explore new opportunities for investment and collaboration.
They also had the chance to see the tangible impact of UAE investment by visiting innovative companies like Recursion Pharmaceuticals, which received a Series B investment from UAE-based Mubadala.
