The ceremony is performed first time during the marriage.
After marriage, at least once in a five years the parents invite their married daughters along with their husbands to perform this traditional event. Parents of the married woman give money to buy clothes or buy clothes per daughter's choice for the ceremony. A good quantity of #rice is mixed with #turmeric, dried coconut core and other ingredients. At least five married women (not widowed) come one after another and put rice in a cloth wrapped around the neck and spread out in the front.
This event will be attended by near and dear to share happiness and spread love among the family, relatives and friends.
