Blitz Esports has officially been disqualified from BGIS 2026 under Rule 6.2.4 for ringing, a serious violation involving account sharing or a registered player being replaced during tournament matches.
In this video, we break down what Rule 6.2.4 actually means, why ringing is strictly prohibited in BGIS, and why this case is significant for the Indian BGMI esports scene. Blitz Esports was not an unknown roster, they had previously competed in CEGC 2025 LAN Finals, BGMS, and BGMI Showdown 2025, and had even secured a strong Top 5 finish in BGIS 2026 The Grind before qualifying for Quarter Finals.
This also marks the second consecutive year where Blitz Esports has faced disqualification issues, raising serious concerns about competitive integrity.
We also discuss:
• Mind Gamer’s disqualification under Rule 6.2.4
• Veni Vidi Vici removed under Rule 4.3 (POV guidelines)
• 27 total teams disqualified so far in BGIS 2026
• Possible replacement for Quarter Finals
With Quarter Finals starting 26 February, BGIS 2026 continues, but integrity remains the biggest talking point.
What’s your take? Is strict enforcement the only way forward?
