Federal authorities in Minneapolis are reporting a second shooting involving Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in just one week. According to the Department of Homeland Security, ICE agents were conducting a targeted traffic stop Wednesday evening when a Venezuelan man, allegedly in the United States illegally, fled in a vehicle and then on foot. During the attempted arrest, the man assaulted the pursuing federal officer, and two other individuals emerged and joined the attack, using a snow shovel and a broom handle in an “ambush” on the agent.
