Victims and families of the deadly Danforth shooting in Toronto are calling for a Canada-wide ban on handguns and assault rifles. Campaigners said there has been a lack of government action to combat gun violence in the aftermath of last year's shooting. The deadly rampage in the Greektown neighbourhood left two people dead and 13 wounded.
