In this UPDATED video, I once again replace the heating element and thermostat on a Whirlpool Imperial Series electric clothes dryer (Model LEN2000PW0). The process will be similar on comparable models from other brands. I also show you how to test your heating element with a multimeter and troubleshoot other possibilities.
Help! My electric clothes dryer has no heat! Whirlpool Model: LEN2000PW0
If your dryer is not heating, it is likely the heating element. A new dryer heating element can be purchased for $15 - $50 dollars and in most cases only requires removing a few screws and reconnecting a couple wires. It’s and easy DIY project.
