Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism, taught the oneness of God, equality, and seva (selfless service), shaping a timeless spiritual path followed worldwide. Born in Nankana Sahib, he lived and worked in Sultanpur Lodhi, where he received his divine calling, and later established Kartarpur as a model community of truthful living. His teachings are preserved in the Guru Granth Sahib, guiding Sikhs through Naam Japna, Kirat Karni, and Vand Chakna. Guru Nanak also described the spiritual journey through the Five Khands of Sikhism: Dharam Khand, Gyan Khand, Saram Khand, Karam Khand, and Sach Khand. Today, Guru Nanak’s life and philosophy continue to inspire global searches for Sikh history, spiritual wisdom, equality, and peace.
