Today I’m going to show you how to cut and tack the front.
I’m making a mock-up, so I’m going to cut just 1 half of the front. You need to make a full-size garment.
This is a perfect design for those who want to hide their bellies.
Before I start cutting, I want to tell you what you should pay attention to.
I’ll be using a marker pen for drawing for you to see everything clearly.
I need to make the details match perfectly. Notice how careful I am.
The design turned out to be very complicated.
I think that this is the 5th pattern I’m making for this shirt. I took me quite a long time to find the best way for making it.
I didn’t want the armholes to be baggy, so I decided to make the chest darts.
I’m not going to add the seam extensions because I’m making a mock-up for a dummy.
Do not forget to make the notches on the waistline.
I recommend everyone making the mock-ups first. The design is pretty complicated, so you need to know what to do.
You can change the design however you want.
People say that we are not old as long as we make our brain work. If we make more of such complicated garments, we will never get old.
