Looking to brew a juicy, citrus-packed Pale Ale using extract? In this video, I’ll show you exactly how I brewed a refreshing Pale Ale bursting with orange flavours and mandarin peel smells — all using a simple extract kit!
We’re using the Wals Pale Extract Can with Mosaic, Eclipse, and Amarillo hops to create a vibrant, hop-forward beer that’s easy to brew and full of flavour. Expect notes of fresh orange, mandarin peel, citrus, tangerine — perfect for any homebrewer chasing craft-quality beer from a straightforward recipe.

Recipe Breakdown:
• 1 x Wals Pale Extract Can
• 1kg Light Malt Extract
• 750g Dextrose
• 300g Maltodextrin
• 40g Amarillo - dry hopped on day 3
• 45g Eclipse - dry hopped on day 3
• 80g Mosaic - dry hopped on day 3
• Yeast: Supplied with the extract can
Fermentation Schedule
• Pitch yeast at 21°C
• Ferment at 20°C 10 PSI for 7 days
• Dry Hop on Day 3 - leaving hops in suspension for 4 days.
• Cold crash at 2°C for 3 days
