Trying out my new camera in a stormy weather ~2025.08.15-16~

Описание: My newest camera arrived that day. There was a big storm raging that weekend and I caught some nice stormy videos. These were taken on two of the first days while having this camera.

My "new" camera is a Canon PowerShot SX1 IS from the year 2007. I hadn't browsed for new camera stuff for a while, but suddenly had that urge. Then I found this. It was only 95€ plus 4,50€ postage. So I had to get it. I wanted something smaller and lighter and with a good zoom. An this had it all. Also watched some old Youtube videos and it seemed to be a liked model.

There were some problems too. At first the clock battery was dead, so every time it was turned on I had to insert date and time. I've since then bought a new battery (CR1220) so that problem is solved. Other problem is still happening. Sometimes when I turn it on there is an error message and it needs to be restarted. Haven't yet figured it out.

I do love this one a lot, but I'm also loving my 5D Mark II even more now. The difference in quality is a lot , but of course the price difference is huge too. Sometime in the future I want to buy a mirrorless camera, so this is good practice for that too. Since the viewfinder is not good in this. XD

In conclusion there are more content coming with this camera too. ;)
