One of The Best ARPGs in its Era and I had to "Dig it"?! (English Cartridge PAL-only)

Описание: Terranigma is one of the most dynamic and impressive SNES ARPG games that stood the test of time and delivers a perfect harmony of gameplay elements: exploration, combat mechanics/boss fights, puzzles (classic quest system), atmosphere, story, unique area and enemies, funny and more mature scary moments, great visual effects, superb dynamic music, tactical depth, unique art style (overworld map), great fake-3d for depth and verticality, no grind and nor "filler" content, good difficulty and leveling balance.

There are some pacing issues here and there, where not discovering something can get you stuck and you need to back track (I even needed a bit help of a guide to pass as certain setion), which can be annoying sometimes. Magic is fun but felt unneeded because how fast reactive and powerful melee is. It's not a hard game, but I don't mind that as I was more into combat with mixed with adventure experience, so I am fine with it. But as a whole, it impressive, and one of the best SNES ARPGs I've played so far.

A rare and inspiring ARPG SNES gem in my book that worth your attention. Already deep in, so review will come later.
